About Mimi

Mimi is an award-winning interior designer living in Austin, Texas. She has received recognition for her custom designs and is a recipient of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Austin Design Excellence Award.

Mimi was a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin, where she taught courses in interior design studio, residential design, textiles and visual merchandising; and was specially appointed to a two-year term as head of the Interior Design program. She has a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University.

As a docent at the University of Texas Blanton Museum of Art, she delighted in touring children and adults through the museum’s collections. She believes that art is a part of life and can engage everyone.
